Based at Nadi Airport domestic terminal we are conveniently situated just a 2 minute walk from the Nadi International Airport making domestic transfers to all Fiji Islands fast, efficient and hassle free.
Our parent company - GCH Aviation - is the only helicopter and aviation company in New Zealand to have been awarded the Diamond Safety Certificate, awarded for over 35 years of incident and accident free flying.
Pacific Island Air has been in operation since 2012. We are the largest domestic airline in Fiji with a total of ten aircraft including 4 seaplanes, 4 helicopters and two fixed wing light aircraft.
Our main areas of operation are regular daily flight transfers to the Mamanuca Islands and Yasawa Islands as well as the Sun Coast area. We also fly helicopters to the Coral Coast on a daily basis. All other areas including the Northern Islands such as Taveuni, Savusavu, SUVA, Nausori is by private charter only. We fly to ALL Fiji Island Resorts.
Pacific Island Air came about with the merger in 2013 of Pacific Island Seaplanes which has been operating for over 15 years in Fiji and Helicopters Fiji. Helicopters (Fiji) is an operating division of Mueller Ltd, a company registered in Fiji that is wholly owned by one of Australasia and the South Pacific's premier aviation operators, GCH Aviation Ltd.
The GCH Aviation Group is an umbrella brand representing our parent company Garden City Helicopters, based in Christchurch, New Zealand and a large number of associated aviation operations extending through New Zealand and into the South Pacific.
These operations include Garden City Helicopters Christchurch, Garden City Helicopters Nelson and Garden City Helicopters Greymouth, Wellington Helicopters, Garden City Air Exec, Pacific Island Air Fiji and Vanuatu Helicopters.
